Questions (07/16/26)
1. Is there a preferred date for a design review or walkthrough discussion?
Answer: No walkthrough discussion
2. Are there any specific preferences for sit/stand configuration, monitor layout, finishes, or accessories?
Answer: No specific preference for sit/stand config. Monitor Layout shall consist of (2) 32” and (2) 24” for CAD system, (1) 24” for Phone and (1) 24” for Radio
3. Will vendor be expected to include installation and freight in the proposal?
Answer: Installation and Freight to be included in quote
4. Are there any additional room drawings, files, or updated floor plans available for the Operations Room and Training Room? I was unable to open some of the documents provided.
Answer: Uploaded files to RFP site. PDF, DWG, DWFX
5. Is there a target installation window tied to the building construction schedule?
Answer: Building is completed; this is for new consoles to replace old.
6. Is there a basis of design that has already been completed by a consultant that can be shared?
Answer: There is no basis of design. We are looking for design to meet console numbers listed in quote to maximize space.
Questions (07/22/26)
1. Are you able to provide insight into the total number of operator consoles requested for Room 143 – Operations.
Answer: As many as can fit (per RFP 26-30 which includes Supervisors)
2. In Operations 143, is the Ramp shown in the upper left for the entire floor or is there a platform specifically for the two supervisors?
Answer: The ramp will be removed and floor will all be the same level. The Supervisor positions will be on the floor area
3. Please confirm intent for Training Room 147 – Live Training: Will there be 1 Console for supervisor, 1 operator console and (6) chairs for trainees or do they need desk space? That room is rather tight.
Answer: 1 Console for Trainer and desktops that can hold at least (2) 24″ monitors with (1) PC for at least 6 trainees
4. Please confirm that Training Rooms 104 and 105 are not included in the scope.
Answer: The only areas for this RFP are Operations 143 and Live Training 147.
